Welcome to Croadria. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who We Are

Croadria ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application developed by Josip Burazin that helps users discover, save and review beaches in Croatia. The app is offered as-is, primarily for informational and recreational purposes.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
You may delete your account at any time inside the app (Profile → Manage Account → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent.

3. User-Generated Content

Croadria lets you submit content such as beach reviews, ratings, beach submissions, photos and a profile picture ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Croadria a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute it within the app and on related platforms for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit. By submitting User Content you confirm that you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

    Zero tolerance for objectionable content.
    There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Croadria. By using the app you agree not to post or upload anything that falls into the prohibited content categories below.
  

4. Prohibited Content and Behaviour

You agree that you will not post, upload or share any User Content that:

Is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory toward any individual or group, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality;
Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive in a manner that is not appropriate for a general audience;
Contains graphic violence, gore, or content that promotes self-harm, dangerous activities, illegal drugs or terrorism;
Contains spam, scams, phishing attempts, malware, or unsolicited commercial advertising;
Impersonates another person, business or organisation;
Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other rights;
Contains personal information of others (real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.) without their consent;
Is misleading, false, deceptive, or designed to manipulate ratings or reviews;
Is otherwise objectionable, as determined by us at our sole discretion.

5. Moderation, Reporting and Enforcement

To keep Croadria a safe and respectful place we operate the following moderation system:

Report: Every review in the app includes a "Report" option. If you encounter content you believe violates these Terms, please use it.
Block: You may block any other user from your feed at any time. Blocked users' reviews will be hidden from you immediately.
Review within 24 hours: We commit to reviewing reported content within 24 hours and taking appropriate action.
Removal & ban: We reserve the right to remove any User Content and to suspend or permanently ban any user account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
Profanity filter: The app automatically blocks reviews containing common slurs and profanity at submission time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Croadria only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the app. In particular, you will not:

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or to other users' accounts;
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app;
Use automated scripts, bots or scrapers against the service;
Use the app to send spam or unsolicited messages.

7. Intellectual Property

The Croadria name, logo, and original content (excluding User Content) are owned by Josip Burazin. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute Croadria content without permission.

8. Disclaimer

Croadria is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. Beach descriptions, ratings, weather information, and user reviews are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or safety of any beach or activity featured in the app. Always exercise your own judgement and follow local safety guidelines when visiting any location.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Croadria and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, or loss of profits.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Croadria at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including any breach of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.
